Arsenal transfer: Guido Rodriguez, Corentin Tolisso and Glen Kamara links

Emirates Stadium-Arsenal

Arsenal have been linked with a surfeit of midfielders as Mikel Arteta is planning to strengthen the middle of the park.

Guido Rodriguez

Topping the wishlist of Arsenal is Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez, who has been impressive in La Liga this season.

The Argentine international is said to have a release clause of £69.5m, but Betis could be forced to sell for a relatively lower fee citing the financial circumstances.

The 27-year-old moved to Betis last summer from Mexican outfit Club America and has since been a regular for the Spanish side.

Rodriguez is an out and out defensive midfielder and can be an upgrade for Lucas Torreira, who Arsenal could cut ties at the end of this season.

Glen Kamara

The Gunners are also looking to resign their former player Glen Kamara from Scottish club Rangers.

The Finnish midfielder failed to make a single competitive appearance during his stint at Arsenal before he moved to the Gers last summer.

Kamara became an integral part of Steven Gerrard’s side that won the Scottish Premiership last season.

Arsenal are willing to offer him a five-year deal and a fee of around £10m.

Corentin Tolisso

Next up is the long-time target and Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who is said to be available for €20m.

The French midfielder has been long linked with a move to Emirates Stadium, but it appears that a move could happen at last this summer.

Tolisso had previously stated his desire to play for the Gunners when he was asked about his dream destination.
