Borussia Dortmund Update: Haaland up for auction, Zorc sends transfer message

Erling Haaland-Borussia Dortmund

Raiola puts up Haaland for auction

Erling Haaland has been linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer and recently his agent Mino Raiola met with the likes of BarcelonaReal Madrid and Liverpool.

The player is thought to be valued at €180 million and it will be interesting to see if any of his suitors are willing to cough up that kind of money this summer.

It seems that Raiola has put his client up for auction with the top European clubs vying for his services.

There is no doubt that the 20-year-old is one of the best goal scorers on the planet right now and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Zorc relaxed about Haaland situation

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc has revealed that the German club are not willing to cash in on Erling Haaland this summer.

He said: “I’m very, very calm about this issue. I know what we want. We are not going to sell [Haaland]. I have nothing against the two men wanting to sunbathe a bit in the Mediterranean.”

The player’s father and his agent have already started meeting with prospective clubs regarding a potential move but it seems that the German club are quite relaxed about the situation.

Haaland has a long term contract at Dortmund and therefore the Bundesliga outfit are under no pressure to sell him.

However, it will be interesting to see if the Germans can deny the player a transfer if a club is willing to pay the asking price for him.
