Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The Belgian international has been in exceptional form for the Italian club, and he has helped them win the Scudetto this past season.

According to the latest reports, the likes of Chelsea are keen on bringing the player back to the Premier League, but Lukaku is determined to continue at the Italian club beyond this summer.

The player has now confirmed that he has spoken to the club’s new manager Simone Inzaghi and it was a very positive conversation.

Following the departure of Antonio Conte last month, there have been plenty of speculations surrounding the future of the 28-year-old striker.

There were rumours that Inter Milan could cash in on the Belgian because of their financial crisis, but it seems that the Italian club are happy to hold on to him.

The 28-year-old scored 30 goals in the Italian league last season, and he’s undoubtedly the best player at the club.

Losing him along with their manager would have been a devastating blow for the Champions, and it will be interesting to see if Simone Inzaghi can keep Inter Milan competitive now that he has got his best striker at his disposal next year.

Romelu Lukaku said: “I am staying at Inter. I’ve already had contact with new manager Inzaghi. Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet… but it was a very positive conversation. I feel good at Inter”.
