Van de Beek eyeing United exit due to lack of game time.

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is reportedly looking for an exit from Old Trafford due to lack of game time.

The Dutch midfielder was bought for 40m pounds last summer with huge expectations but has found himself down the pecking order of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, starting only two Premier League games.

Furthermore, Van de Beek hasn’t been available for selection for the last three weeks due to a muscle injury.

The 23-year-old fears that he could lose his place in the national team if the current situation persists. Hence, he is set to hold talks with United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to sort out his future, but mainly to seek an exit from Old Trafford.

United boast an array of quality midfielders like Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Fred, Scott McTominay and hence Van de Beek has struggled to make his impact with the first team.

United set Haaland as priority over Harry Kane.

The Red Devils have identified Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as their priority this summer, thus playing down the possible deal for Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Solskjaer and United’s football director John Murtough have reportedly decided to go all out for Haaland, who United came close to signing in the summer of 2019.

Although Kane’s name is on the wishlist, the Red Devils are inclined to bring in the Norwegian striker to Old Trafford next summer.

Haaland has been in sensational form this season and he is understood to be on the radar of Europe’s elites, although only a few clubs could afford his transfer, confirmed by his agent Mino Raiola.
