Bayern complete signings of Douglas Costa, Choupo-Moting and Sarr on deadline day

Bayern Munich and Bundesliga clubs resume training

The Bavarians have completed three deadline day signings.

Bayern Munich have done some productive business on the deadline day of the transfer window, signing three new players.

Bayern have added the likes of Douglas Costa, Eric Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr to their squad.

Douglas Costa

Costa has agreed to a season-long loan from Juventus with no buy option. The Brazilian perhaps represented the Bavarians for three years before he joined the Serie A Champions.

Costa has endured a tough spell at Turin, being deprived of game time. Juve have lent the 30-year-old to increase his value of the future sale.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting

The Bavarians have also added free agent Eric Choupo-Moting to the ranks after being recently relieved of the duties from PSG. Bayern have tied the 31-year-old to a one-year deal and is expected to play second fiddle for Robert Lewandowski. Choupo-Moting came face to face with Bavarians when he represented PSG in the Champions League finals.

Bouna Sarr

Marseille right-back Bouna Sarr has been the third signing for the Bundesliga Champions on the deadline day. Bayern have signed the 28-year old on a four-year deal after agreeing to 10m euros with Marseille. Sarr has represented Marseille for more than four years while he spent his career thus far in France. He also had his spells with Metz and Lyon before switching to Marseille. In addition, Bayern are on the verge of selling Michael Cuisance to Marseille.

Prior to their signings, Bayern announced the arrival of Spanish midfielder Marc Roca, who they signed from Espanyol for 15m euros.
