Bayern Munich take on PSG in the Champions League final on Sunday.

The German champions managed to beat the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona on their way to the final. It will be interesting to see if they can go on to lift the trophy eventually.

Bayern Munich will certainly be favourites to win the Champions League this season after the kind of performances they have produced so far. It remains to be seen whether PSC can match up to their sharpness and intensity.

According to reports, the Bayern Munich squad cost less than half of what the PSG squad cost.

The German side are worth £330m compared to PSG’s £700m outlay on their squad.

Furthermore, the team that beat Lyon in the semi-finals was put together with just £90m.

There is no doubt that Bayern are a much better run club as compared to PSG. The Germans have a fantastic structure in place and their tendency to rely on youth has helped them put together a remarkable squad for a very reasonable price.

Bayern are one step closer to completing their treble this season and they will be hoping to do so by lifting the 6th European Cup this week.

Both teams have the players to win the game and it will be interesting to see which set of players manage to step up and deliver. Bayern have the experience of playing at this level. Most of their players have played finals at the club level or at the international level.

Meanwhile, PSG players are no strangers to big occasions either. The likes of Neymar have won the champions league with Barcelona and international cups with Brazil. Mbappe has already won the World Cup with France. This should be a cracking contest between two very good teams.
