Birmingham youngster Jude Bellingham completed a move to Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer.

The Germans have now signed another English starlet to follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and develop into a star there.

Dortmund have an impressive track record of developing young players and that has helped them secure Bellingham’s services. The youngster was a target for clubs like Manchester United as well but he chose to join the German outfit instead.

Apart from Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in the current team, there are plenty of talents those were nurtured at Signal Aduna Park, for example Robert Lewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ousmane Dembele

It is evident that the player was looking at the move from a footballing perspective and he chose Dortmund because it would help him develop his game.

Unlike United, where Scott McTominay, Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood are struggling to get regular game time, but Dortmund can provide him with the platform to express himself and develop as a player.

It will be interesting to see if he can fulfill his potential at the Bundesliga club in the coming seasons.

Bellingham is very highly rated in England and he is expected to develop into a star in future. With the right coaching and game time, there is no doubt he can achieve his potential.

Speaking to the media about his decision to join the German club, the player recently said: “I chose Dortmund because it is the perfect step for my development. I am just glad that saga is over. It was a lot of annoyance to me and there was a lot of noise at the time when all I wanted to do was play for Birmingham. Now I haven’t got the chance to do that anymore, but I would like to think I made the most of it.

“The record Dortmund have got with young players in recent years is unrivalled in European football. Weighing all that up and the people we met there, the stadium and fanbase, it made me fall in love with that club as well. I’ve met Sancho and we have spoken. He is a great example of what you can achieve if you do the right things.”
