PSG

Predicted XI: Navas; Kehrer, Thiago Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat; Herrera, Marquinhos, Gueye; Sarabia, Icardi, Neymar

Doubtful: Mbappé (ankle)

Unavailable: Di María (suspended), Verratti (calf), Kurzawa (thigh)

Change in Squad: Mitchel Bakker, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (added); Edinson Cavani, Thomas Meunier (removed)

PSG will be hoping to pick up a comfortable win here. With the likes of Neymar and Icardi at their disposal, they should be able to get the job done even though PSG may not be able to get Kylian Mbappe in their starting eleven.

That said, Di Maria is suspended and Verratti has a knock as well.

One big new to PSG fans that Mbappe could be available for the match.

PSG cannot afford to underestimate the high flying Italians this week. They will have to be at their best and they must keep it tight at the back.

It is hard to play against Atalanta. It is a huge challenge, but there are always possibilities. It will be a tactical game, but also a mental game. In our latest training sessions were showed concentration, team spirit and good mood. We suffer together, but we also fight and play together.

Thomas Tuchel, Paris Saint-Germain Manager

Atalanta

Predicted XI: Sportiello; Palomino, Tolói, Djimsiti; Hateboer, de Roon, Freuler, Gosens; A. Gómez, Malinovskyi; Zapata

Doubtful: None

Unavailable: Gollini (knee), Iličić (personal reasons)

Change in Squad: Raoul Bellanova, Boško Šutalo (added); Adrian Tameze (removed)

The Italian side have done extremely well to make it to the last eight and they will fancy their chances now.

Atalanta have played some outstanding attacking football this season and it will be interesting to see how they approach the game against PSG. The French outfit are a much better side in terms of personnel and they will be the favourites to win here.

Atalanta can be menacing going forward and they will test the PSG defence.

We’ve shown that a team without a particular European pedigree can do well, with values like will-power, motivation, enthusiasm. I think people like this a lot. We have a big responsibility to not disappoint – not with the result but in terms of these values. Neymar is one of the best players in the world, so he would be a problem for any team who faced him. I think the best way to defend against him is to play well ourselves, with everyone focused.

Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta Manager
