Rudiger help in Alaba transfer chase

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger played a key role in the club’s acquisition of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz last summer.

The German could be influential for the Blues in the transfer market once again.

According to Christian Falk, Rudiger has spoken to David Alaba regarding a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Austrian defender is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season as a free agent and he has been linked with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid as well.

The 28-year-old is a world-class player who would be a sensational signing for Thomas Tuchel.

It will be interesting to see if Rudiger can convince the Austrian to move to Chelsea this summer.

The player is thought to be keen on a move to Real Madrid and he has been offered a lucrative deal by the Spanish outfit as well.

Franck Kessie linked

Meanwhile, the Blues have been linked with a move for the AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

The midfield powerhouse could be a solid addition to the Chelsea side and the Blues could use defender Fikayo Tomori to sweeten the deal for the Italian side.

Kessie has immense potential and he has the physical attributes to succeed in the Premier League as well.

The Blues could certainly use some reinforcements at the centre of the park next season and it remains to be seen who they end up signing.
