Chelsea are looking to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
As per reports, they will step up their move for the German attacker after he has played in Saturday’s German Cup final against Bayern Munich.
Chelsea have already signed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and they are looking to improve their squad even further.
It will be interesting to see if they manage to land Havertz this summer. The Leverkusen youngster is a world class talent who is destined to be a star.
If Chelsea manage to sign him, they would have to be considered as title challengers next season. The Blues have an impressive midfield and Havertz’ arrival will improve them a lot in attack.
Meanwhile, Batshuayi, Zouma, Barkley and Emerson could leave the club this summer and that could add around £100m to their coffers.
Chelsea could then spend that money on new players.
The Blues are keen to improve on their left back options as well and they are looking at the Leicester City full back Ben Chilwell.
It will be interesting to see if they can lure the Foxes star to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The report further adds that Dortmund star Jadon Sancho remains on Chelsea’s wishlist but the move could be unlikely this summer.
