Hoffenheim managed to beat Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in the final game of the Bundesliga yesterday.

Andrej Kramaric scored all four goals for the away side. The former Leicester player scored twice in each half to secure all three points for the away side.

Dortmund will be bitterly disappointed with the end to their season. Although the defeat won’t affect their standings in the table, it was a poor way to sign-off.

Favre would have expected a lot better from his players.

Hoffenheim came into the game looking for Europa League qualification and they managed to secure their place in the competition for the next season.

Meanwhile, Dortmund remain second in the table with Champions League berth secured.

The home side lacked urgency and motivation throughout the ninety minutes and Hoffenheim managed to beat them with ease.

The away side came into the game full of determination and desire. Their attitude drove them to a magnificent win away from home against one of the best teams in the league.

Dortmund struggled to create too many chances during the game and they were fragile at the back.

Kramaric has now scored five goals against Lucien Favre’s side this season and he will be delighted to have guided his side to the Europa League.

Wolfsburg’s defeat to champions Bayern Munich helped them clinch European qualification as well.
