Napoli edged out Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semis last night to make it to the finals.

They managed to draw the second leg 1-1 but their win in the first leg sent them through to the next round.

Fabian Ruiz’s goal have Napoli the first leg win back in February.

It will be interesting to see how they perform against Juventus in the final now. Although the Turin giants will be the favourites heading into the game, Napoli cannot be underestimated.

They have several quality players and they will always be a threat.

Christian Eriksen gave Inter Milan hope of reaching the final when he scored directly from the corner. However, their lead in the second leg was wiped clean when the Napoli cult hero Dries Mertens scored.

The Belgian is now the all time leading goalscorer for the Italian club ahead of legeds like Hamsik and Maradona.

Inter Milan could have won the game but Ospina was in great form in between the sticks. He denied the likes of Lukaku and Candreva during key stages of the game.

Napoli have not had the best of seasons in the league and they will be desperate to finish with some silverware. They have a great chance of winning Coppa Italia after last night’s result.

All the teams seem rusty after the return from lockdown and Juventus looked quite beatable against AC Milan the other day. Napoli will fancy their chances in the finale.
