Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score 50 goals in Premier League, La Liga and Serie A as he helps Juventus to beat Lazio 2-1 at Allianz Stadium.

With the win, Juventus are just five points away of ninth Serie A title on a row. Lazio who were chasing Juventus for the title with ace striker Ciro Immobile being the top scorer of the Serie A, are currently occupying the fourth spot of the table.

Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile both are topping of Serie A scorer list with 30 goals. At one stage in the match, Ronaldo even jumped ahead of Lazio’s striker in the Serie A scoring charts, before the Italian’s score from the spot at 83 minute of the match.

Ronaldo – The Fastest Player to score 50 in Serie A

Ronaldo also becomes the fastest player to score 50 goals in the history of Serie A – taking just 61 matches to reach the tally.

He broke AC Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko’s previous record of achieving the same feat in 68 matches, while namesake Brazilian icon Ronaldo took 70 games during his time with Inter.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner broke the deadlock to put Juve ahead by placing the ball into the bottom right corner at 51 minutes. 

Portuguese then doubled his side’s advantage, as he and Paulo Dybala raced past Lazio’s defence, before the Argentinian set ball up for a smooth finish.

Immobile’s spot-kick put Lazio almost back into the game, but Juventus stood firm to snatch three points.
