Zidane eyed as a replacement for sack-threatened Pirlo

Juventus are reportedly considering Real Madrid gaffer Zinedine Zidane as a replacement for Andrea Pirlo, who is at the risk of getting sacked due to an underwhelming season.

Pirlo has come under fire after a series of unimpressive results in Serie A, with Juventus currently sitting ten points off leaders Inter Milan. Furthermore, another Champions League failure has added more pressure to the former midfielder in his first season as the manager of the Bianconeri.

Some reports are stating that Pirlo is only one defeat away from being sacked although Vice President Pavel Nedved has recently insisted that the Italian gaffer would remain at Turin next season.

Juve are said to have identified Zidane as the successor to Pirlo as the French manager has endured a fluctuating campaign in La Liga. Zidane’s contract runs out in the summer of 2022 and has also been linked with a move to France national team to take over from current manager Didier Deschamps.

Juve planning to offload Rabiot and Ramsey

The Bianconeri have reportedly decided to part ways with the midfield duo of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey to make way for new faces in the middle of the park.

Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli and Manchester United star Paul Pogba are the desired targets for Juve this summer.

Both Rabiot and Ramsey have failed to live up to their expectations and hence Juve are looking to offload them in favour of a midfield overhaul.
