The Old Lady are planning to bid for Real Madrid star Toni Kroos.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has emerged as a surprise target for Serie A giants Juventus.

According to a report from The Sun, the Bianconeri are ready to submit a £34m bid for the German playmaker.

However, it is also added that the Old Lady should offload struggling Aaron Ramsey to fund a transfer for Kroos.

After two disappointing years in Turin, Ramsey has found himself on the chopping block, failing to meet the expectations after his free transfer from Arsenal.

The Welsh midfielder could be shown exit doors this summer, and Tottenham are said to be interested in his services.

Juve are currently in the market for midfield reinforcements as Max Allegri looks to help the club recover from a lacklustre 2020/21 season.

Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli remains the primary target, and it is highly speculated that the Old Lady could seal his transfer very soon. Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic has been linked with a return to Allianz Stadium.

Kroos has become another potential target, and Los Blancos could be tempted to sell him if a lucrative offer arrives.’

The 31-year-old recently saw his German national team get knocked down by England in the quarter-finals, and in the aftermath, he also announced his retirement from the international career.

There has been a little criticism about Kroos over the last two seasons that he hasn’t been at the top level as he was years ago.

Bayern chief Uli Hoeness fired his shots following Germany’s exit in the European Championship, saying that Los Blancos is no longer a player suited to modern football.

Despite all the fuss, the former Bayern Munich star is one of the best central midfielders of the last decade, and he can still perform at the highest level for years.
