Barcelona looking to sign Depay, Wijnaldum and Garcia in January

Barcelona appointed Ronald Koeman as new manager

The Catalans will go for the trio in the winter transfer window.

Barcelona have set Memphis Depay, Georginio Wijnaldum and Eric Garcia as their target targets for the window transfer window.

According to reports, Barca will try to sign the trio after missing out on them in the summer transfer window due to financial depravity.

It is also added that trio will enter the final sixth months of their contracts in January with their respective clubs, which will facilitate Barca to sign them for cheap.

Ronald Koeman admitted the interest in the Dutch duo Wijnaldum and Depay while Eric Garcia is keen on returning to Barca after rejecting a new offer from Manchester City.

The Catalans were closer to signing Garcia and Depay on the deadline day of the transfer window but the lack of funds never made it happen.

Even, Depay talked about the failed move and he is expected to seal his switch to the Nou Camp from Lyon in January.

In the case of Garcia, Barca never met the asking price of Man City but he is adamant on returning to his former club even for a free transfer.

Barca had a tough year financially, which saw them lose around 88m pounds in revenue. It also took a toll on their transfer plans as they managed to sign only Sergino Dest despite getting linked with a host of names.

Besides, the Catalans were able to flock the likes of Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo and Luis Suarez.
