Depay feels happy at Lyon

Barcelona target Memphis Depay has said that he is happy playing for Lyon at the moment, thus rubbishing exit talks.

The Dutch midfielder was close to joining the Catalans last summer but the deal didn’t materialise in the end.

Depay has been understood to be one of the top targets for Ronald Koeman in the January transfer window as the Dutch gaffer wants to reinforce the attacking unit of the Catalans.

The ex-Manchester United star said,

I’m focussed on what I’m doing with Lyon. I don’t want to make a decision yet because I feel good here. I don’t want to create a mess. We’ve got a good team, I like the president, we’ll see what happens.”

“But the president and I know what happened in the past four seasons. We’ll carry on enjoying things as they are until the end of the season. All I’m thinking about is Saturday’s game. That’s all I’m going to say.”

Wijnaldum rejects new Liverpool deal.

Georginio Wijnaldum, who will become a free agent in the summer, has reportedly rejected a new deal from Liverpool, keeping Barcelona interest in mind.

Koeman vows to fight till the last game

The Dutch manager has said that Catalans would fight till the last game following the 3-2 win against Athletic Club. Lionel Messi and Pedri were the scorers for Barca in the away win.

“I’m happy with the result and how we achieved it. We deserved to win the game and have this opportunity. The teamwork has phenomenal, and we will fight until the last game, ” said Koeman.

Lampard linked with shock Barca move

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly dreaming of managing the Catalan club as his position at Stamford Bridge looks in danger following a string of defeats.
