Granada 0-4 Barcelona: Griezmann, Messi inspire Barcelona win

Barcelona Celebration

Barcelona picked up the 4-0 win away from home to Granada in the Spanish League earlier tonight.

The home side made an impressive start to the game and they could have easily scored the opening goal but Marc Andre Ter-Stegen made a superb save off Antonio Puertas within the first 10 minutes.

Antoine Griezmann scored the opening goal of the game after receiving a pass from Sergio Busquets.

Lionel Messi scored the  2nd goal of the game after receiving a pass from Antoine Griezmann and the Argentine placed the ball into the top corner to give his side the lead.

The Argentine scored soon after from a free-kick after Pedri won a foul at the edge of the box.

Barcelona were firmly in control at half time and they deserved to pick up all three points in the end.

French international Antoine Griezmann wrapped up the scoring on the 63rdminute after his compatriot Ousmane Dembele found the French attacker free inside the box.

Jesus Vallejo was sent off for Granada on the 78th minute and Barcelona played the final 12 minutes with a man extra.

The Spanish giants are now up to third in the Spanish League table with 34 points from 18 matches and they will be hoping to close the gap with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the coming weeks.

Barcelona missed out on the Spanish League title last season and it will be interesting to see if they can make amends this year.
