Zinedine wants to keep Eden Hazard

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is seeing Eden Hazard as central to his plans following the impressive display against Alaves.

The Belgian’s time at Bernabeu hasn’t gotten off since his big-money move from Chelsea in the summer of 2019.

As Madrid are reportedly planning for a summer overhaul – with players like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland being targeted, questions have been raised over Hazard’s future.

However, Zidane appears to be satisfied with the Belgian’s performance against Alaves and wants to keep him for good.

Perez says Benzema’s absence is a big loss to France.

Madrid President has commented on Karim Benzema’s exclusion from the France national team, stating it as a big loss.

The French striker hasn’t represented his national colours for the last five years after a fall out with coach Didier Deschamps.

“Karim is a unique player and I think his absence from the French national team is a great loss for them.

“Not calling up the best No.9 in the French national pool and in the world is a situation that no one can understand. It’s a waste.”

Benzema is currently the fourth joint-highest scorer in La Liga this term with 10 goals.

Oliver Kahn shrugs off Ramos’ Bayern links.

Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn has shrugged off the links of Sergio Ramos moving to Allianz Arena.

Rams future is up in the air as his contract expires this summer and Bayern Munich are said to be one of the potential suitors alongside PSG.

However, Khan has denied the possibilities of Ramos joining the Bavarians.

“We have to think about who could be an adequate replacement for David Alaba.”

“As a player, I’d love to have played with Ramos, but there’s nothing in [him coming to Bayern].”
