Spanish club Valencia are going through a crisis right now and they could sell several players to cope with the financial impact of the current health crisis.

As per reports, the entire Valencia squad is up for sale except Jose Gaya this summer.

Valencia have suffered tremendous losses due to the Coronavirus crisis and they have already sold the likes of Ferran Torres, Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin this summer.

The three players fetched a combined fee of around £48.5m.

It will be interesting to see who else is sold this summer.

Valencia fans were already unhappy with their owner Peter Lim and this move is expected to infuriate the fanbase further.

The billionaire’s running of the club has been questionable from the first day and he has shown very little ambition so far.

It will be interesting to see how Valencia recover from this.

When Rafa Benitez was in charge of the club, Valencia managed to beat Barcelona and Real Madrid to the La Liga title. The Mestalla outfit have come a long way since then and they are now sinking deeper with every passing season.

Valencia finished 9th in La Liga this past season and if all of their key players are sold this summer, they could well be fighting for survival next year.

A club of Valencia’s history and stature should be challenging for trophies and they needed to make signings this summer to plug the gaps in their squad. Instead, they are weakening the team considerably.
