Zidane on Bale- “It’s complicated… I’ve never had a problem…”

As Gareth Bale completed loan-move to Spurs, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane claimedd that he never had a problem with the Welsh international.

Tottenham have completed the loan signing of Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

The 31-year old needed to leave the Spanish club in order to play regular first-team football and it will be interesting to see if he can regain his for man confidence with the Premier League side.

The London club needed to improve their attacking options this summer and the short term addition of Gareth Bale could help them break into the top four this season.

The 31-year-old will help the likes of Harry Kane and son in the attack. He will add pace, flair and goals To the team.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has now claimed that he never had a problem with the Welsh international. He also wished the player best of luck and claimed that Gareth Bale is a spectacular player and he helped Real Madrid win several trophies during his time at the club.

He said: “It’s more complicated. With Bale, it’s always about one side against the other. But I’ve never had a problem with Gareth. There will always be things that happen. Now he’s making a change, all we can do is wish him the best… These things happen in football, but I’ve always said he was a spectacular player. I know what he has done for this club. He always proved his quality and what he has achieved with the club cannot be argued with.”

Before his move back to Tottenham, there were rumours of a fallout between Zidane and Gareth Bale. the 31-year-old was benched for most of the last season.

It remains to be seen if Jose Mourinho can help him recapture his world-class form in the coming months now.
