Pochettino eyeing swoop for Manchester United wantaway star Paul Pogba

The newly appointed PSG boss is reportedly keen on signing Pogba.

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to have identified another transfer target in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

According to reports, Pochettino has identified the French World Cup winner as a priority and also believes he can beat the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus for his signature.

Pogba’s exit links have spurred following his agent Mino Raiola’s shocking comments, i.e, the midfielder’s time at Old Trafford us over.

The 28-year-old also suffered a dip in his performance this season, which saw him lose his place to the likes of Scott McTominay, Fred.

Madrid are one of the potential suitors for Pogba, who also made no secret about playing for the Spanish Capital club in future.

Meanwhile, Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Pogba as Italians are not opting against the return of their former star.

Now, PSG are looking to scupper the transfer plans of Madrid and Juve by luring Pogba to Parc Des Princes.

Pochettino is also understood to be keeping tabs on Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, the players who he previously managed at Spurs, and the former Espanyol gaffer wants to sign any one of them.

Paris St-Germain have the financial luxury of luring some big names to their club and it remains to be seen whether Pogba would be their next marquee signing.

The Frenchman’s current deal expires at the end of next season, with no renewal talks so far.
