Paris Saint-Germain picked up a 3-0 win over Nantes in the French League earlier today.

Ander Herrera scored the opening goal of the game two minutes into the second half and the French champions doubled their advantage when Kylian Mbappe converted a 65th minute penalty.

Pablo Sarabia wrapped up the scoring two minutes from full time and Thomas Tuchel will be quite pleased with his team’s performance tonight.

PSG are now three points clear at the top of the table with seven wins from 9 games.

They will be hoping to build on this and pull further clear of their title rivals in the coming months.

The away side were firm favourites heading into this game and the fans will be delighted with the result tonight.

Nantes were the underdogs here but they would have expected to put up more of a fight. They were expected to lose here but they could have made life difficult for the defending champions at home.

The home side are now 15th in the table with just eight points from eight games. They will have to improve a lot in order to stay up this season.

It will be interesting to see if the players can step up and deliver in their next game now.
