PSG president delivers the latest update on Mbappe and Neymar future

No Neymar in PSG's Team of the Decade - chosen by France Football

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is confident of agreeing on a new contract extension with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Both players have two years left on their current contracts and there have been speculations that the duo could be on their way out at the end of this season.

Apparently, Paris Saint-Germain might not be able to afford both renewals but the club president has now dismissed such rumours.

Neymar and Mbappe are one of the best players in the world right now and losing them would be a major blow to Paris Saint-Germain’s ambitions.

The French club must do everything in their power to keep them at the club beyond this season.

Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Liverpool in the recent months.

Meanwhile, Neymar has been linked with a return to Barcelona.

It will be interesting to see if the two players agree to extend their contract at the club. They have already proven themselves in French football and they might be keen on a new challenge in future.

The chance to join Barcelona and Real Madrid are likely to tempt both players and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.

“We have started to speak with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe,” Al-Khelaifi told. “Those talks will remain confidential, but I am very confident. They both want to stay with us.”
