PSG superstar Neymar has tested positive for coronavirus along with three of his teammates.
The Brazilian is now expected to self isolate in accordance with the guidelines and it will be interesting to see when he is deemed fit to return to action. The club have refused to confirm the identity of the three other players.
However, the rumours suggest that Di Maria and Paredes have tested positive for the virus as well.
The French League will begin later this month a PSG will be hoping to have Neymar fit and ready by then. PSG will face Lens in their season opener on the 10th.
A post on the French club’s Twitter account read: “Three @PSG_English players are confirmed positive after a Sars CoV2 test and have undergone the appropriate health protocols. All players and staff will continue to be tested over the next few days.”
PSG were beaten in the Champions League finals last month and they will be hoping to go all the way in next season.
The French outfit were beaten by Bayern Munich but they did manage to put in an impressive performance. They will fancy their chances of winning the Champions League given another shot at it.
The last season was prematurely suspended because of the Coronavirus pandemic and the French league will be hoping to return strongly and complete the upcoming season in accordance with the health guidelines.
