Loris Karius terminated loan contract with Besiktas

Karius confirmed the termination of his contract via Instagram today. wrote the 26-year-old, who, according to his adviser, repeatedly warned unsuccessfully of paying outstanding salaries would have.

Hi everyone, today I terminated my contract with BEŞİKTAŞ. It’s a shame it comes to an end like this but you should know that I have tried everything to solve this situation without any problems. Unfortunately they haven’t tried to solve this situational problem and even refused my suggestion to help by taking a pay cut. It’s important to me that you know I really enjoyed playing for this club a lot. BEŞİKTAŞ can be proud having such passionate fans behind them always giving amazing support. You always supported me in good and bad times and I will always remember you in the best way! Also I want to say thank you to all my teammates, coaching staff including all people working for the club. You welcomed me with arms wide open from day one. Thank you so much! He last played for the Reds as goalkeeper in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid where he made two mistakes in the 1-3 defeat. Though later Klopp discussed his situation with medical expert from USA, on a possible concussion during the ill-fated final, Liverpool let him go to Turkey to join Besiktas on loan.

Karius perhaps may not have any future in Liverpool, and ultimately heading to another club again, on loan. The Brazilian Alisson is currently Jürgen Klopp’s number 1 goalkeeper. When he was out for several weeks at the start of the season and again during March’2020, substitute Adrian was custodian for Liverpool. But Adrian too came under severe criticism after Red’s ouster from UEFA Champions League this year.
