Manchester United are keen on signing the Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.
As per reports, Real Madrid are looking to join the race for the Argentine forward as well.
Lautaro was heavily linked with Barcelona earlier this summer but it seems that talks between the Catalan club and Inter have stalled.
United and Real Madrid are now looking to make the most of that opportunity and pounce on the player.
Lautaro is one of the most talented young players in Eruope right now and he would be a tremendous signing for most teams.
If United manage to sign him, he would improve them immensely. He could partner Marcus Rashford in attack.
Lautaro is not just a goalscorer, he can create chances for his teammates as well. In theory, him and Rashford should work well as a pair.
Similarly, he could be a key addition to Real Madrid’s side as well. Benzema is in his 30s and he will be past his peak soon.
The Argentine could be his long term replacement at Santiago bernabeu.
Barcelona need someone like him but it seems that finances could complicate the move. With Suarez on the decline, they need to bring in a quality striker.
Lautaro would be perfect for the Spanish giants.
It will be interesting to see where the attacker ends up eventually.
