Manchester United are thought to have agreed on personal terms with Jadon Sancho.
The Dortmund winger has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a while now and the Red Devils are now one step close to signing the player.
Sancho will earn around £140k-a-week if he moves to Old Trafford this summer.
As per the Transfer Window Podcast, the 20-year-old winger will sign a five year deal with the Red Devils.
Transfer expert Ian McGarry said: “It is our understanding that Sancho has agreed in principle in the last two weeks a five-year contract with Manchester United which will pay him initially £140,000 per week but increasing to around £200,000 per week over the course of that deal.
Sancho has been a star in Germany for the last two seasons and he would be a tremendous addition to Solskjaer’s side. Manchester United need a world class winger and the Dortmund star would be the perfect fit.
He wouldn’t need time to adapt to English football either. He could make an immediate impact next season.
It will be interesting to see if United can agree on a fee with Dortmund now.
The winger has 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga this season and he could turn United into genuine title contenders if he joins them.
Manchester United have improved their midfield a lot with the signing of Fernandes. If they can improve their attack now, they could really push their rivals for the title next year.
