Ben White deal announced

Arsenal completed the £50 million signing of Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion earlier today.

The 23-year-old centre back has signed a long term contract with the London club, and manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that the defender was a top target for the Gunners, and it is an excellent signing which has now been wrapped up.

White was quite impressive for Brighton in the Premier League this past season, and he will be hoping to make his mark at Arsenal now.

The Gunners have paid big money for the services, and the England international will be expected to make an immediate impact next season.

Ben White is undoubtedly one of the most exciting young defensive talents in the country right now. He could sort out Arsenal’s defensive problems for the foreseeable future if he manages to settle in quickly and fulfil his potential.

New deals for Hector Bellerin

Meanwhile, the Gunners are now looking to agree on new deals with Granit Xhaka and Hector Bellerin.

Bellerin has been heavily linked to Inter Milan this summer, but the Italian champions are unwilling to sign him permanently.

They are hoping to sign the 26-year-old on loan, but the Gunners will only consider a permanent move or a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

They have now informed the Spaniard’s representatives that they would like the player to sign a new contract.
