Tammy Abraham interest

Arsenal are thought to be interested in signing the Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

The 23-year-old has barely featured for the Blues this past season, and he needs to leave the club in order to play regular first-team football.

The Gunners could use some attacking depth next season, and Abraham would be a superb long-term prospect. The Chelsea striker scored 30 goals in his last two seasons at Stamford Bridge, and he is rated at £40 million.

It will be interesting to see if the Gunners are willing to pay that kind of money for the young forward in the coming weeks.

Saliba joins Marseille

Meanwhile, defender William Saliba has completed his loan move to Marseille, and he will be hoping to continue his development with regular football at the French club.

The youngster was on loan at Nice last season.

Saliba has struggled to earn the trust of manager Mikel Arteta, and he has not had any first-team opportunities at arsenal so far. The young Frenchman will be hoping to improve as a player at Marseille next season and force his way into the Arsenal first team in the future.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for Ben White from Brighton, and Saliba would have fallen further down the pecking order at Emirates. The decision to send him out on loan is a wise one, and the club’s technical director Edu confirmed that the move will be good for the player’s development.
