Arsenal Transfer: Lacazette wanted by La Liga duo, Emery hails defensive target, Lamptey blow

Arsenal Transfer Round-up Lacazette and Torreira swap

Lacazette wanted by La Liga duo

Real Madrid are thought to be interested in signing the Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid are keen on the Frenchman as well and it seems that the striker has had a fallout with the Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Apparently, the two no longer share a mutual bond in the dressing room and Lacazette could be allowed to move on at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old will be a free agent next summer and Arsenal would be wise to cash in on him this summer.

Emery hails defensive target Pau Torres

Meanwhile, former Gunners manager Unai Emery has heaped praise on the Arsenal target Pau Torres.

The talented young defender has been linked with a move to Arsenal and the former Arsenal manager Unai Emery has labelled the defender as an amazing player who is going to play at the highest level very soon.

Emery said: “Pau Torres is an amazing player – I think he’s top. I’ve been a coach in Sevilla, PSG, Arsenal and I’ve never seen a centre-back like Pau Torres. I think he’s going to play at the highest level, he’s playing now in the national team but he can play in the top teams in Europe very soon.”

Tariq Lamptey blow

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Brighton right back Tariq Lamptey.

The youngster has done exceedingly well for the Seagulls in the Premier League this season and he is already being courted by several Premier League clubs.

The likes of Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are thought to be keen on the 20-year-old defender as well.

The defender has recently signed a new deal with Brighton until the summer of 2025 and his suitors will have to pay a considerable amount of money to lure him away from the club at the end of this season.
