Arsenal produced a complete performance against Leeds United and secured a thrilling 4-2 win at home.

Manager Mikel Arteta was brave with his team selection and he went with quite a few attacking options and his gamble paid off.

January signing Martin Odegaard was handed a start alongside Emil Smith Rowe in an attacking midfield role and the Norwegian helped create plenty of chances for the Gunners.

Arsenal put on one of their most impressive attacking displays against Leeds United and it will be interesting to see if Arteta continues to field more technically gifted attackers in his starting lineup over the coming weeks.

Meanwhile star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returned to scoring ways with a blistering hat trick.

Only Jamie Vardy, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have scored more than him since his move to England now.

However, the star of the show was youngster Bukayo Saka who was instrumental to Arsenal’s impressive attacking display against Leeds.

The highly talented attacker continues to improve every week and he has already established himself as a key player for the Gunners.

Saka heaped praise on Aubameyang after the game. He said: “Auba is amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of him. He showed everyone how much quality he has – when he gets a chance, he is going to put it away. He can do everything, so we are so happy to have him and it’s good that he got a hat-trick for his confidence. We have a big week ahead and we hope he can score some more goals for us.”

The Arsenal attacker also spoke about Odegaard after the game. He added: “Martin is amazing. He has a lot of quality and I am looking forward to playing more with him, scoring some goals and assisting him. He’s an amazing player.”
