Chelsea cruise to a 4-1 win over Sheffield United in the Premier League

Chelsea have done well to come back from a goal down to secure a 4-1 win over Sheffield United earlier tonight.

David McGoldrick gave Sheffield United their lead on the 9th minute but Chelsea came back into the game through Tammy Abraham on the 23rd minute.

Ben Chilwell scored on the 34th minute to give the Blues their lead.

Thiago Silva and Timo Werner scored twice in three minutes towards the end of the second half to wrap up all three points for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard will be thoroughly impressed with his team’s performance tonight and the Blues will be looking to build on this and close down the gap with the likes of Liverpool.

Chelsea spent significant amount of money during the summer transfer window and they will be expected to challenge for the Premier League title.

The win tonight leaves Chelsea third in the Premier League table with 15 points while Sheffield United are at the bottom with just one point in the League so far.

Chris Wilder will know that he still will have to improve a lot if they want to survive in the Premier League this season.

It will be interesting to see if Sheffield United can improve in the upcoming matches.

They were outstanding in the Premier League last season and they will have to find their rhythm and momentum soon.

Chelsea take on Newcastle in the next Premier League game and they will be hoping to put together a winning run now.

Meanwhile Sheffield United take on West Ham at home in their next outing and they will be under pressure to bounce back with a positive result.
