Chelsea transfer round-up: Latest on Rice, Hudson-Odoi, Emerson, Tomori

Frank Lampard-Chelsea

Here we take a rundown on some of the major transfer updates from the Blues.

Delcan Rice interested in Chelsea move

West Ham midfielder and Chelsea‘s long-term target Declan Rice is reportedly interested in sealing a switch to Stamford Bridge.

However, a transfer in January looks an unlikely one as the Hammers would not want to lose their key player.

Furthermore, the English midfielder is said to be committed to give his best for the Hammers, who are currently eighth in the Premier League table, a place down Chelsea.

Emerson’s agent speaks out on Italian’s future

Emerson’s agent has opened up about his client’s future amidst the exit links from Stamford Bridge. The Italian has become a fringe player following the arrival of Ben Chilwell and often been linked with a return to Serie A.

Emerson’s agent Fernando Garcia said, “Emerson Palmieri to Inter on a free loan? Absolutely not. Chelsea wants to monetise his sale. Not having liquidity is a problem,”

“Some teams have already done some enquiries, but not I reveal which ones.

“How much does he cost? We haven’t talked about it.”

Hudson Odoi’s stance amid Bayern links

Chelsea are unwilling to let go of their talented forward Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been on the radar of Bayern Munich for a while.

The Blues will reportedly shrug off any offers for the 20-year-old and at the same time, Bayern are not planning to sign him in the January transfer window.

Tomori set for Rennes loan

Chelsea centre-back Fikayo Tomori is set for a loan move to Rennes after failing to find a place in the starting lineup this season, with Frank Lampard sticking with Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva.

Leeds United were also said to be interested in taking him on loan but the 21-year-old looks to have made up his mind in moving to Ligue 1.
