Everton are thought to be closing in on the transfer of Allan from Napoli.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Goodison Park for a while now and Carlo Ancelotti is keen on bringing him to the club.

Everton are in talks with Napoli regarding the transfer and there is an optimism that the transfer will go through soon.

Meanwhile, Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is also a target for the Toffees.

Everton need to shore up their defence this summer and Tomori could prove to be a decent addition.

Although he is not a major upgrade on the likes of Keane and Mina, he’s quite young and he could be coached into a very useful player.

Everton have already missed out on the likes of Hojbjerg and Gabriel this summer and they will not want to miss out on their other key targets in the coming weeks.

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is also a defensive target for Ancelotti. Smalling was on loan at Roma last season and he was quite impressive for the Italian side.

He has the experience and the quality to make a difference for Everton next season.
