Manchester United picked up up 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League earlier tonight.

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game deep into injury time to secure all three points for the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’ team have been in impressive form in the recent weeks and the Norwegian will be delighted with the performance from his players.

It was a tricky game for Manchester United and they managed to grind out the all-important three points and they are now up to second in the Premier League table just two points behind League leaders Liverpool.

Wolverhampton Wanderers had their chances in the first half when Romain Saiss came close to scoring for the away side twice.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers defender hit the crossbar with a header before his near post flick was saved by David De Gea.

Manchester United’s best chance in the first half fell to Bruno Fernandes who was denied by his compatriot Rui Patricio on the 34th minute.

Romain Saiss had another chance in the second half of the match but the Spanish goalkeeper pulled off another spectacular save.

Bruno Fernandes was instrumental once again in the win as his long pass set up Marcus Rashford for his winner in the dying moments of the game.

Manchester United are now unbeaten in nine Premier League matches and they will be hoping to build on this and close the gap with Liverpool in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile Wolverhampton Wanderers are now 12th in the League table with 21 points.

The away side defended well for the majority of the game and they will be disappointed to have come away empty-handed.
