Liverpool 4-3 Leeds Salah saves the blushes as Champions struggle to cope with Bielsa-ball

Liverpool picked up a 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League earlier today.

The win takes them up to second in the Premier League table level on points with leaders Tottenham.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah gave his side the lead on the 24th minute after a mistake from the Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Conor Coady.

The away side could have levelled things up at the stroke of half time when Conor Coady went down in the Liverpool penalty box but VAR ruled out the penalty call because of a dive.

Kelleher was once again given the nod ahead of Adrian in the Premier League today and the young goalkeeper managed to impress once again. The youngster pulled off a spectacular save off Daniel Podence.

Gini Wijnaldum doubled Liverpool’s lead on the 58th minute with a stunning counter-attacking goal.

Joel Matip put the result beyond any doubt with a goal on the 67th minute and then Nelson Semedo scored an own goal to wrap up all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Reds have had several injury issues this season and tonight was supposed to be a tight encounter for them but they have managed to pick up a thumping win and it will give them immense confidence going forward.

Klopp will be delighted with his team’s performance tonight and he will be relieved that there were no other injury issues for the Reds.

With the likes of Alexander-Arnold and Keita back in the side, Liverpool have plenty of positives to look forward to now.
