Man United Transfer: Lingard in demand, Cavani future and Silva offered to the Red Devils

Jesse Lingard-West Ham United

Lingard in demand

Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard has proven to be a massive hit at West Ham United since joining the London club on loan last month.

Apparently, the Hammers are willing to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent basis at the end of this season.

However, they are not the only Premier League club looking to sign Lingard. Apparently, Leicester City are keen on the player as well and it will be interesting to see if the Hammers can fend off the competition and secure his services.

Jesse Lingard needs to join a club where he can play regular first-team football and therefore a return to Old Trafford is definitely off the cards for him.

It will be interesting to see if he chooses to join West Ham United after the Hammers gave him the opportunity to resurrect his career.

Mendes to offer Manchester United Cavani Replacement

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Uruguayan international Edinson Cavani’s future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain and the Manchester United Chiefs are currently considering whether to extend Cavani’s contract or sign a new striker in the summer.

According to reports Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes is willing to offer Manchester United a £30 million rated replacement for Cavani.

Mendes wants to bring his client Andre Silva to Old Trafford.

The Eintracht Frankfurt striker has been in sensational form this season and he has been one of the best strikers in Europe.

Manchester United need to sign a proper goal scorer as the likes of Martial and Rashford are more suited to wide roles.

Silver would be a solid long term investment for Manchester United and it will be interesting to see if the Red Devils are willing to splash the cash for him.
