Manchester City Update: Latest on Messi, Garcia, Grealish, Dzeko

Man City's Champions League ban lifted after CAS appeal

Manchester City defender Eric Garcia has been linked with a move away from the club for a while now and it seems that Barcelona remain keen on him.

The youngster will be out of contract soon and it could be possible that he decides to move on when the transfer window reopens in January.

Garcia needs to play regular football at this stage of his career and he is unlikely to get that opportunity at Manchester City, especially after Premier League side, signed two central defenders in Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake.

Meanwhile Manchester City have their own transfer targets and it is believed that they are looking at Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.

The England international has been outstanding this season and he could be a superb signing for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Pep Guardiola is thought to be closing on a renewal as well and Manchester City are preparing for an audacious swoop for the Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

The Argentine star will be a free agent at the end of this season and Pep Guardiola and Sergio Aguero are hoping to tempt him to Etihad.

In other news, Manchester City fans are demanding a return for former striker Edin Dzeko.

The experienced Roma striker could be a very good backup option for the Premier League club especially in their current situation.

Sergio Aguero is currently sidelined with an injury and Gabriel Jesus recently returned from his injury lay off.

Signing a quality third striker could help Manchester City in the title race and the fans wanted the former striker back at the club.

Dzeko helped Manchester City win a title during his time at the club and it will be interesting to see if he’s open to returning in future.
