Manchester United already decided Dean Henderson future

Dean Henderson has had an impressive loan spell at Sheffield United this season.

The player has now been linked with a permanent move away from Manchester United but the Red Devils have other plans.

As per reports, United have no intention of letting him leave for good.

Henderson has been one of the best keepers in the league this season but if he returns to Old Trafford next season, he will be second choice behind De Gea.

Perhaps that is why the media have linked him with an exit this summer.

Manchester United will offer the player a new deal soon and they see him as a big part of the club’s future.

Henderson is 23 and he needs to keep playing regularly. If United cannot guarantee him first team football next season, he should look to go out on loan again.

It will be interesting to see where the player ends up next season.

Whoever signs him will have a quality young keeper on their hands. Henderson has been better than the England number one Jordan Pickford this season and he has a great chance of making it to the national team.

However, he needs to keep playing in order for that to happen.

At this stage, it doesn’t look like United can give him starts ahead of De Gea.

The Old Trafford outfit should let him continue his development at Sheffield United until he is ready to replace the Spaniard in the starting lineup.

The Blades have played a key role in his development and they would love to keep him next season as well.
