The Red Devils have been proactive in the transfer window after signing Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.

It turns out to be a productive transfer window for Manchester United after sealing moves for Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.

United are now focused on midfield reinforcements, and it has been reported that they are set to hold talks with the representatives of Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez about a deal that could cost £40m.

According to a report, United will turn their attention to Dortmund striker Erling Haaland after completing transfer talks with Saul.

The Red Devils are said to be confident of striking a deal for the Norwegian striker next year when his release clause of €75m can be exercised.

Haaland was a prime target for Man Utd before he moved to Dortmund from Salzburg last summer.

However, It would be a dramatic transfer race as the Norwegian striker has plenty of suitors, with Chelsea appearing determined to sign him after allegedly submitting an offer worth £130m.

Dortmund are reluctant to sell their prized asset Haaland this summer after losing Sancho to United.

Haaland has garnered 41 goals for Dortmund across all competitions in his debut season and has been cited as one of the best strikers in the world at the moment.

The 21-year-old has recently spoken about the speculations surrounding him, stating that he sees his future with Dortmund for the time being.

Man Utd believe they are the favourites to sign him next year as they look to continue their transfer spree beyond this summer.
