Manchester United could try for Sarr again this month

Watford winger Ismaila Sarr has been linked with a move away from the club this summer and it seems that Manchester United remain interested in signing the 22 year old.

According to reports, the Red Devils could make a move to sign the player in the next few days.

Although the European transfer window has closed, transfers are still allowed between Premier League and Championship clubs until the 16th of October.

Sarr managed to impress in the Premier League last year despite Watford’s relegation and he could prove to be a useful addition to the Manchester United attack.

The Red Devils failed to sign Sancho from Dortmund and they need someone to add pace and flair to the side.

Sarr could prove to bean upgrade on Daniel James if he moves to Old Trafford.

Watford will be looking to demand a premium if they are forced to sell the 22 year old this late in the window and it will be interesting to see if United are willing to pay the asking price.

Although Sarr is not quite as good as Sancho, he has the potential to develop into a quality player and he could be a good long term investment for Manchester United.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree on a deal in the coming days now.

Sarr deserves to play in the Premier League and he is likely to be tempted if Manchester United come calling.
