Manchester United Transfer Update: Telles, Upamecano, Calvert-Lewin

Man United Transfer Round-up Dembele, Sancho, Mata, Pogba

Manchester United have recently signed Donny van de Beek from Ajax but their transfer business is far from over.

The Red Devils have been linked with the Porto left back Alex Telles recently.

They are looking to bring in more competition for Luke Shaw and the 27 year old Brazilian should prove to be a quality addition.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can secure an agreement in the coming weeks now.

Meanwhile, the Porto star is not the only defender linked with a move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are thought to be keen on signing the RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano as well.

Furthermore, Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Everton striker has been in red hot form under Carlo Ancelotti and he has started this season bang in form as well.

There is no doubt that Manchester United could use another quality attacker and the Everton star could prove to be a superb long term investment.

However, the Toffees are under no pressure to sell and Manchester United will have to pay over the odds to convince them to sell Calvert-Lewin.

Calvert-Lewin has scored 12 goals in 22 appearances under Ancelotti and the Italian has been crucial to his development over the past year. It would be highly unlikely that the player would want to leave Everton right now. He is a key starter for the club and Ancelotti’s system is getting the best out of him. At United, he will have to compete with the likes of Rashford, Greenwood and Martial for a starting berth.
