Manchester United update: Latest on Romain Faivre and Joe Hugill

Ole Gunnar Solskjær-Manchester United

Manchester United are interested in signing the Brest midfielder Romain Faivre.

The 22-year-old has been outstanding in the French League this season and his performances have attracted attention from French champions Paris Saint-Germain as well.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can fend off the competition from the French outfit and secure his services in the summer.

Brest are unlikely to weaken their squad midway through the season and therefore Faivre’s suitors will have to wait until the summer to sign him.

The midfielder has picked up four goals and three assists in 19 appearances this season and he has a big future ahead of him.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have been urged to sign a younger version of Edinson Cavani if they want to win the 21st Premier League title.

According to pundit Jason Cundy, Anthony Martial is not good enough to lead Manchester United to the Premier League title and the Red Devils will have to bring in a quality striker.

However, it seems that the Old Trafford outfit might have a superb attacking talent already on their books.

Youngster Joe Hugill has been in sensational form at the youth level and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United decide to promote him in the coming seasons.

The likes of Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood have done exceedingly well since their promotion to the first team and Joe Hugill might be able to have a similar impact.
