Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford this summer, with reports stating he is against the idea of signing a contract extension.

The Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently commented on Pogba, stating that the French World Cup winner remains integral to his plans though French giants PSG are ready to move for him.

However, according to a new report, Pogba, whose contract expires next summer, sees a long term future at Old Trafford but is said to be pondering over a big decision.

United signed Pogba from Juventus in 2016 for a British record transfer fee. However, he has been criticised for his inconsistency.

Nonetheless, the 28-year-old inspired France national team to World Cup glory in 2018 and even in the recently concluded Euro 2020, everybody witnessed vintage Pogba.

United preparing fire sale to fund transfers for Camaving and Trippier

Man Utd are making their presence felt in the transfer window as they have already announced the signings of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.

It is speculated that the Red Devils could bring in a few more new faces before the window closes, and they have been linked with a handful of players.

Eduardo Camavinga remains a top target to bolster the midfield ranks, while Solskjaer is keen on Atletico Madrid full-back Kieran Trippier.

Now, the Red Devils are reportedly preparing a fire sale to get their hands on the desired stars, and the players who have made the chopping block are Jesse Lingard, Brandon Williams, Anthony Martial, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Alex Telles, Andreas Pereira, Daniel James and Axel Tuanzebe.

Besides, Ex Bayern Munich midfielder Jerome Boateng, who had previously represented Manchester City, is reportedly dreaming of a transfer to Old Trafford.
