Tottenham offered the chance to sign former fan favourite

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed one COVID19 positive in latest testing

Tottenham have been offered the chance to resign Christian Eriksen when the transfer window reopens in January.

The former Tottenham midfielder has struggled to fit in at Inter Milan and he has fallen out of favour with Antonio Conte.

It will be interesting to see if the Italian giants decide to cut their losses on him later this season.

Eriksen was one of the best players in the Premier League during his time at Tottenham and a return to England might be ideal for him.

The midfielder needs to regain his confidence and sharpness with regular fasting football and he should look to leave the Italian outfit during the January transfer window.

That said, Spurs are well stocked in the attacking midfield department with the likes of Lo Celso and Dele Alli at their disposal.

It will be interesting to see if they’re willing to move for their former player in January like they did with Bale this summer.

Eriksen is certainly a top class player on his team and he could make a big difference to Tottenham’s attack but it would probably be a luxury signing at this stage and Tottenham are better off investing in another department.

Apparently intermediaries have offered the midfielder to Tottenham and other leading Premier League clubs.

Inter Milan are keen to trim down their wage bill and they are looking to offload fringe players like Ericsson who are on massive contracts.

The Italian side paid £17 million for Eriksen and they will be hoping to recoup most of that when they sell him.
