Tottenham have been picked as the best club in the world when it comes to producing and developing world-class footballers according to a survey.

The Londoners have overtaken the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool when it comes to nurturing talented footballers and adding value to them.

Spurs have developed the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli in the recent years and all three players would command huge fees in the transfer market now as compared to when they broke into the Tottenham first team.

 According to report the Premier League club add £32 million to a player’s value once they have been brought into the club.

Spanish giants Barcelona have dropped down to 4th in the list with an average of £25 million because of their poor transfer business in recent years.

The Catalan club have had several transfer failures like Coutinho, Dembele and Griezmann.

Meanwhile German side RB Leipzig are second in the table having made a lot of money on Naby Keita and Timo Werner.

Jurgen Klopp’s team are third in the rankings having developed the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The likes of Trent Alexander Arnold and Andrew Robertson have improved in terms of value since they broke into the Liverpool first team.

The top five is completed with Borussia Dortmund who have nurtured the likes of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in the recent years.
