Tottenham told to pay full wages if they want to sign Christian Eriksen

Conte urged Eriksen to 'raise level' to get a start at Inter

Christian Eriksen has been linked with a move back to the Premier League this month and it seems that Tottenham and Leicester City are interested in signing the Danish international.

The 28-year-old is no longer a key player for the Italian club and they are willing to cash in on him in January.

However, it appears that Tottenham are looking to sign the midfielder on a loan deal and Inter will demand that the Premier League side pay his full wages in order for the transfer to go through.

Eriksen earns around €7.5 million per season and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to shell out that kind of money to bring him back to the club.

Spurs could definitely use some depth in their attacking Department especially if Dele Alli decides to move on.

The 24-year-old England international has been linked with a move away from Tottenham after failing to impress Jose Mourinho.

Alli is thought to be a target for Paris Saint Germain this month.

Eriksen was a key player for Tottenham during his time at the club and he could prove to be a quality short term addition for the London club.

Spurs are currently chasing a top four finish and someone like Eriksen could make a big difference to their season if he manages to recapture his form.

He knows the club and the league well and he could make an immediate impact if he returns to the Premier League in January. Eriksen will be determined to prove himself once again after his struggles in Italy and his hunger could drive him to success.
