Tottenham Update: Latest on Ings interest, Alli price tag and Markanday new deal

Tottenham borrow £175m to ease coronavirus impact

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Southampton striker Danny Ings.

The 28 year old is one of the best strikers in the country right now and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Tottenham attack.

Apparently the player is stalling on a new contract at Southampton and Spurs are preparing to move for him in the summer.

Meanwhile 24 year old midfielder Dele Alli has been linked with a move away from Spurs this month and the Premier League side have now set a  €50 million price tag for the midfielder.

He has been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain and it will be interesting to see if the French outfit are willing to splash the cash on him.

Initially it was reported that Alli is keen on a loan move away from the London club but Tottenham are only interested in selling the player on a permanent basis.

€50 million is a lot of money in the current economic conditions and PSG might struggle to land the midfielder if Tottenham do not lower their asking price.

In other news, youngster Dilan Markanday has signed a new contract with the Premier League club.

The under-23 midfielder is rated highly at Spurs and he has now extended his contract with the Premier League club until the summer of 2022.

The attacking midfielder has tremendous potential and he will be hoping to break into the first team squad in the near future.
