Tottenham Update: Latest on Marcel Sabitzer, Harry Kane new deal and Dele Alli

Tottenham borrow £175m to ease coronavirus impact

Tottenham are in a strong position to sign the RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.

The 26 year old midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the recent weeks but a transfer seems unlikely midway through the season.

It seems that Tottenham will have to wait until the summer transfer window signed the midfielder.

Jose Mourinho could certainly use some depth in his midfield and Marcel Sabitzer could prove to be a quality addition. He will add creativity and defensive cover to the  Tottenham midfield.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham player Alan Hutton has claimed that Daniel Levy needs to splash the cash  and tie Harry Kane down to a new lucrative contract if he wants to keep the England international at the club for the long run.

Apparently, the club are in talks with the England striker regarding a new deal and it will be interesting to see if the two parties can secure an agreement soon.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be keen on the signing of Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli but the Argentine is in no rush to sign the England international this month.

It will be interesting to see if the former Tottenham manager makes a move to sign Alli at the end of this season.

The 24 year old has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham and he needs to leave the club in order to play regular first-team football.
